Simple & Delicious Golden Milk Latte Recipe (with video)

The creamy comfort and warm deliciousness of a golden milk latte are hard to beat. Perfect on a cold fall or winter day, or any day for that matter, it tastes a little like liquid pumpkin pie! As an added bonus, the anti-inflammatory properties of the golden turmeric combined with cinnamon, ginger & a pinch of pepper (which helps our body absorb the turmeric) make it a great morning beverage or an afternoon pick-me-up with extra health properties.


The turmeric has a naturally bright yellow/orange color and has even been known to have cancer-fighting properties. But who would even know it since it tastes so delicious!


Here's a simple recipe that can be enjoyed any time of day and poured into your favorite cup or tumbler.


Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:

·      1 tsp turmeric

·      1 1/2 cups of oat milk (or your milk of choice)

·      1/2 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice

·      A pinch of ginger

·      A pinch of black pepper

·      1 tsp of maple syrup (or to taste - optional)

 

Heat all the ingredients in a saucepan over a medium heat and stir until warm, but not boiling.


Pour the liquid into a blender and blend until it's nice and frothy (for about a minute). Enjoy! ✨
